RMS services took on the project to design, fabricate and erect a structure to park 2 vehicles in such a way as to be sympathetic to the landscape. The exisiting drive level was continued into the contour of the garden by excavating upto 1.1m depth. day-trips Footings were poured and retaining walls constructed from concrete block with steel reinforcement and reclaimed brick facework. A Lime mortar style mix was used with the reclaimed bricks to compliment the surrounding buildings.
The steel frame was erected and roofed with box profile coloured steel sheeting and the sides clad with ‘board on board’ style treated timber cladding. The Steel uprights to the front of the building were boxed in with treated timber to give the effect of a timber framework.
